A battery having an improved electrode structure is provided to protect a carbon layer of a positive electrode using a metal layer and improve a reaction rate under activation of a reserve battery by using a hygroscopic property of a separator. A battery(10) having an improved electrode structure comprises a battery case(13), a positive electrode and negative electrode(24) installed within the battery case, a separator(23) insulating the positive electrode and negative electrode, and an electrode pin(18). The positive electrode has a circular carbon layer(21) and a metal layer(22). The circular carbon layer with predetermined thickness has a through hole in a center. The metal layer protects the carbon layer. |
