Process for make-up of eyelashes comprises: shaping on all or part of eyelashes with cohesive sheaths resulting from a reaction, on the eyelashes, of at least one compound (X) or (Y), where (X) and (Y) are siliconized, and the reaction is hydrosilylation reaction or a condensation reaction in the presence of at least one catalyst, or crosslinking reaction in the presence of at least one peroxide; and moving the sheaths towards the upper end of the lashes by a movement of translation along the lashes for a distance less than the length of the lashes.
