PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform parallel scanning with a high-resolution beam and another beam. SOLUTION: In a pulse Doppler radar device of an electronic scanning system for performing scanning with a high-resolution beam requiring a long irradiation time, PRT of the high-resolution beam is elongated furthermore than a section which is essentially needed, and PRT of another search beam and/or PRT of a tracking beam is allowed to interrupt into the elongated section, and parallel scanning is performed with the high-resolution beam, another search beam and/or the tracking beam.
