The connection has a shaft (1) i.e. steering spindle, and a hub (3) i.e. articulated fork, where the hub has an opening (6), in which an axial end section (2) of the shaft is coaxially inserted. The opening is non-rotationally symmetrically designed with respect to a longitudinal center axis (7). The section has a cross sectional profile complementary to or within the opening. The profile completely fills out the opening. The shaft has a cross section so that the section is insertable into the opening that is so dimensioned that the shaft is relative to the hub rotating around the axis. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a torsion-proof connection between a shaft and a hub.
