A method for applying a repeater control manager changing/authenticating procedure is provided to secure the stability in operating a repeater, thereby maintaining the good call service quality. In case the host 2 requests the control right change from a repeater(1), the host 1 having the control right transmits a checking request message to a host administrator(4). If the change request coincides with the corresponding information, the control right change is normally performed. The malicious access and control right change cannot be performed.
