AIR CLEANING SYSTEM FOR MAINTAINING NITROGEN AND OXYGEN RATES BY REPRODUCIBLE CLEANING UNIT, AND ITS METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air cleaning system with a long-life cleaning unit, capable of performing a series of operation within a single unit.

SOLUTION: Air to be treated is caused to pass through a rough water trap, half-dried, and then caused to pass through an adsorption column 150 (1) for dehydration and complete removal of carbon dioxide. Carbon monoxide and hydrocarbon in the air are oxidized and removed with the use of an oxidation catalyst (200). Water and carbon dioxide generated by the oxidation catalyst are removed with the use of an adsorption column 150 (2).
