PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toilet seat apparatus which can simultaneously provide excellent safety, excellent durability and reliability, and excellent energy efficiency even if a constitution for warming a toilet seat instantly (raising the temperature of the toilet seat quickly) is adopted. SOLUTION: This toilet seat apparatus includes a toilet seat 400 which includes a metal having a seating surface 401U and has a hollow section inside, a toilet seat heater 450 placed on the rear side of the seating surface 401U, and a first heatproof thermal insulating member 801 which is attached tightly to the other side of the toilet seat heater 450 rather than the side attaching the seating surface 401U tightly. The first heatproof thermal insulator member 801 has a width-extending section 801a which is extending to the outside beyond the side edge section of the toilet seat heater 450.
