PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an altered kringle 5 peptide having a long-term action for the treatment of diseases concerning neovascularization.

SOLUTION: This altered anti-neovascularization peptide is a peptide like kringle 5 peptide having a reactive group which forms a stable covalent bond reacting with an amino group, a hydroxy group. or a thiol group each being a blood component. In this disclosed process, the reactive group is bonded to the peptide, and the reactive group is reacted with a functional group of the blood component to form the covalent bond, and this method of extending the in vivo half-life of the anti-neovascularization peptide includes a process, using the disclosed process, to form a stable in vivo bonded entity having a longer in vivo half-life than that of the anti-neovascularization peptide alone.
