PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable choke cleaning by simple control without an apparatus being made large for the liquid jet apparatus. SOLUTION: A part of a wall surface which constitutes a converging channel is formed by a first film 228 flexed by a pressure difference between inside and outside of the converging channel. A pressure adjusting means is installed which adjusts the pressure of an ink inside the converging channel on the upstream side from the first film. A regulating plate 271 is set which regulates displacement in a direction that decreases the channel resistance of the converging channel to the first film. The regulating plate prepared between an ink cartridge and a valve unit is furnished to a body in which a plurality of recesses C1 and communication holes 242 are integrally formed, and is equipped with a blocking part 273 which blocks each flexible region of the first film confronted to each projection 240 formed by each of the recesses and communication holes. Moreover, permission holes 272 formed in the blocking part to partly permit displacement of the flexible region are installed by not smaller than the same number as the number of the projections.
