<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display tool holding device which has simplified constitution, which is inexpensive, and where a proper display board is reliably and easily detachably attached and replaced. <P>SOLUTION: The display tool holding device 1 includes a display tool supporting part attaching part 10 and a locking member 5. The display tool supporting part attaching part 10 includes a base plate 12 and a pair of slit plate bodies 14 and 15, and includes a thick center base 19 between the pair of slit plate bodies 14 and 15, then provided with a longitudinal notched groove 34 having predetermined depth on the center base 19.
