摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic endoscope apparatus capable of preventing penetration of moisture etc. into a connector socket, securing electric safety and preventing malfunction of circuit operation inside a processor. SOLUTION: The electronic endoscope apparatus has a connector socket insertion structure and a connector socket moving mechanism. The connector socket insertion structure is configured to permit attachment of a cap 15 to connector sockets 18a and 18b and prohibit insertion of an electric connector 16b before the connection of the electric connector to the processor 10, for example, and to permit connection of the electric connector 16b when the cap 15 is attached. The connector socket moving mechanism is configured to advance the unattached connector socket 18b in response to the retreat of the attached connector socket 18a based on the attaching operation of the cap 15 so that the electric connector 16b can be connected to the connector socket 18b. If the electric connector of the electronic endoscope to use is connected to a corresponding connector socket, an opening of another connector socket of an unused electronic endoscope can be closed accordingly.
