<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To certainly detect the damage of an outer layer coating and the breakage of wire in a resin-coated rope, and to grasp a rope damage state in an early stage. <P>SOLUTION: Strands made by twisting metallic wires are further twisted to be schenkels 8 to 19.
