摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic resonance imaging apparatus capable of acquiring an MR image of a substance flowing using SSFP (Steady State Free Precession). SOLUTION: This magnetic resonance imaging apparatus includes a data collection means and an image generating means. The data collection means collects MR data by applying a plurality of excitation pulses having a same flip angleαwith a constant TR (repetition time), and applying the gradient magnetic fields SS, PE and RO so that respective 0-order moments of gradient magnetic fields SS, PE and RO in the TR; a slice-selection gradient magnetic field SS and read-out gradient magnetic field RO till TE (echo time); and the slice-selection gradient magnetic field SS and the read-out gradient magnetic field RO from a central time when an echo is generated till the application time of the next excitation pulse reach zero respectively: and a primary moment of at least one of the slice-selection gradient magnetic field SS and the read-out gradient magnetic field RO takes a value other than zero.
