<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly optically transparent touch panel with raised correctness and responsiveness concerning the touch panel, especially a touch panel using a carbon nanotube film. <P>SOLUTION: A touch panel includes a substrate, a transparent conductive layer, and at least two electrodes. The transparent conductive layer is formed on a surface of the substrate. The two electrodes are connected to the transparent conductive layer and mutually arranged at a prescribed interval. The transparent conductive layer includes one carbon nanotube layer, and the carbon nanotube layer includes a plurality of carbon nanotubes aligned along a same direction.
