<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of producing ozone by using an apparatus which enables safety treatment of ozone by preventing the adsorbed and stored ozone from being rapidly decomposed even in such abnormal operation states as electric power failure or high pressure and/or high temperature in an adsorbing/desorbing column. <P>SOLUTION: The ozone production apparatus includes: an ozonizer for generating ozonized oxygen; the adsorbing/desorbing column for adsorbing and storing ozone from the ozonized oxygen generated in the ozonizer; and an ozone desorption means for desorbing and supplying ozone that is adsorbed and stored. In the ozone production apparatus, a reducer-storing tank is connected to the adsorbing/desorbing column through a switching valve, and this valve is opened in an abnormal operation state of the apparatus. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
