An apparatus and a method for duplexing ACR(Access Control Router) in a mobile Internet are provided to be stabilized in a short time by managing only WiMAX related duplexing information. IPs of a physical and logical interfaces are set up(S310), and an active routing protocol is set up(S320). An active/standby state is determined(S330). The logical interface of an active device is activated, and the logical interface of a standby interface is in an inactive state(S340). The activated logical interface is included in a routing domain(S350), and configuration information and WiMAX information is duplexed(S360).
