ELECTRIC POWER PRODUCTION AND BOILED-OFF GAS TREATING SYSTEM ON LNG CARRIER AND METHOD THEREOF

A system and a method for managing the ELECTRIC POWER GENERATION and the evaporative gas of a LNG ship are provided to generate the power source by rotating a powered axle for the propulsion of the LNG ship using a shaft generator. A system for managing the ELECTRIC POWER GENERATION and the evaporative gas of a LNG ship comprises: a LNG storage tank(1) equipped in the LNG ship; a gas fuel compressor(3) compressing the evaporative gas ejected from the LNG storage tank; a power generator rotating a powered axle in order to make the LNG ship promoted; and a shaft generator(32) equipped in the powered axle in order to produce the electricity by the rotation of the powered axle. The gas fuel compressor and the power generator are connected with pipes in order to supply the additional gas fuel to the power generator.
