<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pushing mechanism for a heat seal roll which controls distortion in the roll axis direction caused by pushing while maintaining roll pushing power necessary for heat sealing as to a multiple line roll automatic filling/packaging machine. <P>SOLUTION: This long axis seal roll pushing mechanism for the sealer of a multiple line roll automatic filling/packaging machine is structured with a cam follower directly pushing a long axis seal roll body on the front face side and the back face side seen from the front. The long axis seal roll on the front face side is provided with two cam follower mechanisms pushing from the front face to the back face near the both ends of the seal roll body.
