TOUCH PANEL AND DISPLAY DEVICE USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly optically transparent touch panel with raised correctness and responsiveness concerning the touch panel, especially a touch panel using a carbon nanotube film.

SOLUTION: A touch panel includes a first electrode plate and a second electrode plate separated at prescribed interval from the first electrode plate. The first electrode plate includes a first substrate and a first conductive layer located on the first substrate. The second electrode plate includes a second substrate and a second conductive layer located on the second substrate. The first conductive layer and the second conductive layer include carbon nanotube layers. The carbon nanotubes in the carbon nanotube layer are substantially aligned in a single direction.
