摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a machining method and a machining device for applying stable ductile mode machining to a hard brittle material requiring a micro critical cut depth while pushing a tool against a workpiece with stable and constant pushing pressure. SOLUTION: A slider 31 is provided movably in a X-axis direction, and the slider 31 is pushed against the workpiece W with constant pushing pressure during machining. Then, the tool is moved in the moving direction along the uneven machined surface of the workpiece W. Thus, the cutting amount of the tool T is kept constant independently of the shape of the machined surface of the workpiece W or the dynamic or static accuracy of the machining device.
