COMMUNICATION LIGHT DETECTOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication light detector capable of discriminating the working state or not of a communication line easily and visually using invisible light propagated through an optical communication transmission line. SOLUTION: The communication light detector installed at a connection part of the optical communication transmission line formed of an optical fiber, and detecting the presence of communication light of the optical communication transmission line, comprises a sleeve 5 into which the ends of the optical fiber are inserted from both ends, and a light detecting part 6 detecting communication light which has leaked out into the sleeve 5 from the ends when the ends of the optical fiber butt each other in the sleeve 5.
