A rotary type oil damper to control the damping force is provided to control the damping force according to the torque applied to a rotary shaft by changing the open range of a flow path. A rotary type oil damper to control the damping force comprises: a housing space of a housing(110) filled with the viscous fluid; a rotary shaft(130) rotating a blade connected to a torque damping object, installed on a closed space, the flow of the housing, to be connected; a pair of blade(150) symmetrically arranged on the center of the rotary shaft; a flow path including at least one among an variable flow path(101), an adjustable flow path or an additional flow path, transferring the viscous fluid in one space segmented with the blade and a stopper in the rotating of the rotary shaft; and a regulating valve(165) moving relative to the flow pressure of the viscous fluid passing the flow path in order to control the opening area of the flow path, installed at the adjustable flow path. |
