A roll polishing device is provided to prevent the occurrence of stripes, polished steps, and under-polished or over-polished region. A roll polishing device(100,200) comprises a first grinding stone(110) which rotates in contact with a roll, a second grinding stone(210) which is arranged below the first grinding stone and rotates in contact with the roll. The first or second grinding stone has an axis parallel to the axis of the roll. The roll polishing device also includes a controller first and second driving units moving the first and second stones in opposite directions and a control unit controlling the operation of the first and second driving units.
