A helmet and a manufacturing method thereof are provided, which can reduce the impact applied from the outside and minimize the sharp member penetrating the inside of the helmet. A helmet manufacturing method comprises: a step of forming the protection cap(110) of the cupola-shape which is made of the urethane material within the mold; a step of attaching the impact absorption layer which is comprised of the inner circumference of the protection cap to memory foam; and a step of coating the outer circumference of the protection cap after separating the protection cap and impact absorption layer(140) from the mold. The helmet comprises: a protection cap which is made of the urethane material; an impact absorption layer consisting of the memory foam; and a coating layer formed in the outer circumference of the protection cap. |
