An electronic payment system of a mobile communication terminal using billing details as an authentication means and a method thereof are provided to prevent personal finance information which is important from a view point of a seller from being leaked. A buyer informs a mobile communication terminal number through an on-line or off-line path(101). A seller inputs the mobile communication terminal number and billing details. A seller terminal transmits the billing details to a bill issuing system. The bill issuing system issues a bill(103). The buyer performs the electronic signature through an electronic signature personal key. A bill checking system authenticates the electronic signature on the bill. |
