<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a convenient bed which prevents a user from falling and facilitates nursing care work when the user needs the nursing care. <P>SOLUTION: The bed is equipped with a floor board frame 2 on which a user lies in a recumbent position on a lower part frame 1, and the floor board frame 2 is configured by including an upper body rest 22 rising to support the upper body of the user. The upper body rest 22 has both right and left sides which bend to the side of the user relative to a main surface part 22D in the center in the width direction as side guards 22A.
