<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure the expansion and security of a storage area of a server side and to improve the convenience of a user by storing information encrypted by the server side in a storage device installed in a thin client side. <P>SOLUTION: A server has an encrypting and decrypting means for encrypting or decrypting information to be processed by an information processing means, and a communicating means for transmitting information (encryption information) encrypted by the encrypting and decrypting means to a thin client.
