PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle suspension system capable of changing the roll stiffness and the roll moment distribution according to the load. SOLUTION: There are provided a method for controlling the roll stiffness and the roll moment distribution of the vehicle suspension system of an vehicle, and the vehicle suspension system by the method. The suspension system includes vehicle supporting means on the front side and the rear side for supporting the vehicle and the load supported by the vehicle, and at least one roll moment operating means for providing the variable roll stiffness to the vehicle suspension system. The roll stiffness and the roll moment distribution of the vehicle suspension system are adjusted according to the load to be supported at least by the rear side or the front side of the vehicle.
