<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical pickup apparatus, a disk drive apparatus and a method of manufacturing the optical pickup apparatus for electrically connects laser units to a plurality of boards in a reliable and simple manner. <P>SOLUTION: In this optical pickup apparatus, a resin part 11 of the laser unit 5 integrated with an electrode terminal 3 has a step shape, so that the step-like resin part 11 serves as a holding section that holds first and second flexible boards 7 and 10 so as to face each other at a predetermined gap. According to the optical pickup apparatus, a step difference 11C of the resin part 11 is formed, so that no additional component is required, a second flexible board 10 can be reliably held at a position separated in a penetration direction from a position where the electrode terminal 3 of the laser unit 5 and a first electrical connection terminal (not shown) of the first flexible board 7 are electrically connected. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
