<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for confirming the grammatical correctness of Japanese to be translated which are to be the object of translation. <P>SOLUTION: This translation support device for pre-editing a translation object sentence in Japanese, before translating the sentence into a different language, is provided with: a translation object sentence receiving means for receiving a translation object sentence inputted by a user; a morphological analyzing means for performing morphological analysis of the translation object sentence received by the translation object sentence receiving means; a syntax analysis means for performing syntax analysis of morphological information analyzed by the morphological analyzing means and specifying a subject candidate and a predicate candidate in the translation object sentence; and a display means for displaying the subject candidate and the predicate candidate specified by the syntax analyzing means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
