PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle failure diagnosis/prediction device creating a model in a normal state from traveling data to perform failure diagnosis/prediction specialized in a vehicle. SOLUTION: A condition of a model road to be subjected to the failure diagnosis/prediction is preset, and a vehicle state data detection means 11 collects state data from an on-vehicle sensor 21 in time of traveling under the condition, and accumulates them in a vehicle state database 15. After the collection of the state data corresponding to a prescribed period or distance, a normal state model creation means 13 creates the normal state model from the state data. A failure diagnosis/prediction means 17 compares the normal state model with the state data detected by the vehicle state data detection means 11 to diagnose failure during the traveling of the road of the model road condition after the normal state model is created. The failure diagnosis/prediction means 17 compares the normal state model with future state data by regression analysis of the past vehicle state data accumulated in the vehicle state database 15 to predict failure.
