COLORING COMPOSITION

Disclosed is a coloring composition containing (A) a pigment dispersion composed of a pigment having an average particle diameter of 0.1-0.5 µm, a polymer dispersant containing a hydrophobic group and an ionic group as indispensable components and an aqueous medium, and (B) a crosslinking agent. The coloring composition is characterized in that a crosslinking reaction is caused between the polymer dispersant and the crosslinking agent at the time of coloring, thereby fixing the pigment onto fibers.
