A roof-top parking system for automatically parking a vehicle on a roof of a building and retrieving it therefrom comprising a communication system to signal that the vehicle is to be retrieved, or parked; a vehicle positioning device to raise and lower a vehicle to and from said roof and park and retrieve the vehicle at/from a parking space on the roof assigned to the vehicle.
