PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dispense with a cover or a cover part for covering the screw head of a fixing tool inserted through a door end side edge part; to surely prevent the lifting (a separation phenomenon) of the flange part of a mounting pedestal from the edge of a door opening part. SOLUTION: In a mounting pedestal where it is fitted to the wall surface of the free end of a door provided with a lock case and its one end part is fixed through a fixing tool with reference to a pivot supporting the base end part of a handle, an engaging protrusion which extends in the horizontal direction from the back of the mounting pedestal and engages into a mounting hole formed in the wide side wall of the lock case is provided in the other end part of the mounting pedestal.
