A feeding member for a lamp, a discharge lamp, a discharge lamp unit, and a light emitting device are provided to prevent damage to a glass bulb by absorbing a shock when a discharge lamp is attached on a lamp socket. A discharge lamp(20) includes a discharge lamp main body(10) and a feeding member(1). The discharge lamp main body includes a glass bulb(11) and an electrode lead wire(12). Both ends of the glass bulb are sealed. The feeding member includes a main body part(2) and a feeding terminal(3). An insertion hole(2c) is formed on the main body part. An end part of the glass bulb is inserted to the insertion hole. The feeding terminal has a communicating part(3a). The communicating part is communicated with the insertion hole. The electrode lead wire is connected to the feeding terminal.
