A system and a method for searching a scene in media and an apparatus and a server applied to the same are provided to make a user to input a search word about contents of media, thereby enabling the user to search a desired media scene and a media scene group. A terminal device(100) extracts metadata matched with a search word which a user inputs through a search library based on meta data. The terminal device distinguishes reproduction time information about a reproduction point of time from the meta data. The terminal device sets a reproduction section about a media scene corresponding to the meta data or a media scene group. The terminal device reproduces the reproduction section.
