A PC security system and a method thereof are provided to automatically perform PC lock/PC lock release functions through a tag ID when a user having an RF transmission module accesses or deviates within a specific transceiving distance. An RF transmission module(100) transmits a radio frequency signal combined with characteristic tag ID information. An RF receiving module(200) receives the radio frequency signal transmitted from the RF transmission module. A PC(300) extracts a tag ID from the RF signal transmitted through the RF receiving module by combining with the RF receiving module. The PC determines whether the tag ID is registered. According to a determination result, the PC selectively performs a lock function. |
