摘要

A liquid crystal aligning agent is provided to produce a liquid crystal display device of various driving methods having low ion density and excellent long-term reliability. A liquid crystal aligning agent comprises a polyamic acid or their derivative which is a reaction product of diamine and tetracarboxylic dianhydride; and an epoxy compound having an epoxy group in which the average functional group number is more than 1. The diamine comprises the diamine represented by following chemical formula (I).
