An image processing apparatus, a processing flow control method, an image forming system, and a recording medium are provided to substitute a process individualized about a user for a part of common processing flow, thereby executing a desired process about each user. An obtaining unit(2001) obtains setting data individualized about a user authenticated by an authentication unit. The first registration unit registers a plurality of processing as a series of process flow. An execution unit substitute a process individualized about the user set in the setting data for a part of the processing flow during execution of the processing flow registered in the first registration unit. The execution unit executes the processing flow.
