A fishing spinning reel (10) includes a bail support member (14c) having a line guide portion (14e) which is supported in such a manner as to rotate reversibly between a line winding position and a line releasing position on an arm portion (14b) of a rotor (14) linked with a handle (24) provided on a reel main body (12) in such a manner as to rotate as a result of the handle being operated to turn, and a switching lever (62) which can be switched between an anti-reverse state in which the rotor (14) is prevented from rotating backwards and a rotation enabling state in which the rotor (14) is enabled to rotate forwards and backwards. The bail support member (14c) is restricted from reversing from the line winding position to the line releasing position when the switching lever (62) is in the rotation enabling state.
