A keypad including a sliding key and a sliding type mobile terminal including the same are provided to improve the option property and operation capability of a key input unit and slide a second main body from a first main body automatically. An upper surface portion comprises a plurality of first plates making the upper side. First plates of both sides have the first holder of downward upon one side. The first plate positioned between both ends has a first holder of downward upon the either side. A lower side includes a plurality of second plates(125) forming lower side.
