A board material turning device is provided to increase the back slab rolling productivity by rapidly responding to the back slab rolling operation. A board material turning device comprises: a frame member(10) arranged in a board material transfer table; a movable unit(30) elevating the frame member; a rotating unit(50) mounted on the lower part of the movable unit; and a plate turning device(70) turning the board material, transferred through the transfer table, to the variety angles successively. The frame member includes: a vertical bar(12) installed at the both side of the transfer table; and a base plate(14) connected between vertical bars. The movable unit includes: an elevation driving unit installed at the base plate; and a platform(34) extending downward while passing through the base plate, connected to the elevation driving unit.
