A method of deciding fueling quantity in a vehicle is provided to reduce the error of a fuel gauge by using initial fuel quantity in fuelling and utilizes as data for the exact calculation of fuel consumption ratio. A method of deciding fueling quantity in a vehicle comprises: a step(S10) judging whether a vehicle is fueled or not; and a step(S20) obtaining the fuel level change amount of a fuel tank in case of fueling the vehicle. When an engine is stopped and the fuel level of the fuel tank is changed, the vehicle is fueled. When the engine is operated and a gear shift is in parking or neutral and the fuel level of the fuel tank is changed, the vehicle is fueled.
