The invention relates to analytical instrument engineering, in particular to analytical instruments used for carrying out spectral analysis and can be used in devices for atomizing and exciting atoms of tested samples. The inventive head for an analytical gas plasmotron comprises a body provided with a nozzle (1), a power electrode (6) coaxial with the nozzle, a system for cooling the nozzle and the power electrode and a device for supplying a plasma-forming gas (11) to the interelectrode chamber (12) which is formed by the power electrode and the body provided with the nozzle. The nozzle and power electrode are embodied in the form of axially-symmetrical equidistant thin-walled shells (2, 7) which are made of a material exhibiting a high electric and thermal conductivity and the walls of which form a part of the flow channels (3, 8) of the cooling system. |
