UNIT COMMITMENT SYSTEM AND METHOD USING DC OPTIMAL POWER FLOW CONSIDERING THE LIMIT OF TRANSMISSION LINE FLOW

A unit commitment system and a unit commitment thereof are provided to perform unit commitment by introducing a slack variable considering the system line limit by using a convergence constant changed according to the size of the system and the convergence degree based on the optimal power flow calculation of the transmission line limit. A unit commitment system(10) receives a load estimation information about a generator(30) from an operating system(20) and transmits the unit commitment result of the generator to the operating system by constructing the unit commitment by introducing a slack variable considering the system line limit by using a convergence constant changed according to the size of the system and the convergence degree based on the optimal power flow calculation of the transmission line limit. The operating system transmits the load estimation information about the generator to the unit commitment system, receives the unit commitment result of the generator from the unit commitment system, and performs the operation of the system.
