An environment-friendly block for the levee of a rice paddy is provided to improve durability and strength and to promote the natural growth of plants by manufacturing using a mixture of loess and glass fiber, and to construct easily along a curved surface of a cutting slope. An environment-friendly block(10) for the levee of a rice paddy comprises a support portion(11) supported to a bottom surface, a vertical portion(13) provided with a groove(13a) on one side and a projection(13b) on the other side and formed perpendicularly from the support portion, and a reinforcement portion(15) reinforcing the support portion and the vertical portion. The environment-friendly block for the levee of a rice paddy is manufactured by pouring a mixture composed of aggregate having a unit weight of 1350~1450kg/m^3, a binder having a unit weight of 400~456kg/m^3, a compound having a unit weight of 2.81kg/m^3, glass fiber having a unit weight of 1.5~2.5kg/m^3, and 40~45 weight percent water per 100 weight percent binder into a mold, and vibrating and compressing, and then curing, wherein the binder is composed of 11~16 weight percent blast furnace slag, 21~25 weight percent loess, 35~51 weight percent blast furnace slag cement, and 17~24 weight percent waste glass powder. |
