The method of converting asbestos cement products such as waste into asbestos free cement products involves placing the initial product as pieces in a tunnel oven at a preset temperature of between six hundred and one thousand degrees for drying the asbestos fibres. This is followed by mechanical comminuting to produce a secondary raw material without asbestos for the cement industry .
