The device has a sliding plate (44) intercalated between lateral side of a mounting ear of a pad and a lateral side (22) of housing of a yoke joint. The plate is coupled mechanically by an elastic hinge to another sliding plate (42) plated against a radial side (26) of the housing, where the plates are made of stainless steel. An angle is formed by the plates when the device is not mounted in the joint, such that an end (45) of the plate (44) opposite to another end of the plate (44) exerts pressure force on the lateral side of the housing, when the device is mounted on the joint.
