<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly improve responsiveness to accelerator OFF, and suppress charging caused by the excess power of an electricity accumulation means. <P>SOLUTION: When the accelerator is turned from on to off while a vehicle is traveling with the operation of an engine, a reduction rate ΔTr is set so as to be larger as an input restriction margin Wr from a power being charged to a battery to input restriction Win is larger, and as an input/output restriction width Woi of output restriction Wout and input restriction Win of the battery is larger (S350 to S370), and torque Tr* for control is set so as to be made smaller toward vehicle required torque T* corresponding to the accelerator off by the set reduction rate ΔTr (S340), and the engine and two motors are controlled so that the vehicle travels by the set torque Tr* for control.
