Method for determination of state of activity of myeloperoxidase of neutrophils includes registration of data of investigation, sampling capillary blood, smear preparing, its fixation in formalin-alcohol solution, washing in fresh water, drying in air, incubation in newly prepared alcohol-water solution of benzidine with hydrogen peroxide, washing with distillated water, drying, additional dyeing of smear with Romanovskyi-Gimza dye and its microscopic investigation, evaluation of activity of myeloperoxidase by number of yellow-brown granules in cytoplasm of 100 neutrophils by means of light microscope, comparison of patient’s data to index of myeloperoxidase in population. Besides that additionally one determines relative activity of myeloperoxidase. |
